What does Eucanol do? Eucalyptus is a native Australian tree, the antiseptic properties of which have been known for many years. Although there are over 500 species of this tree, only a few varieties have beneficial properties, and it is the oils from these that are incorporated into Eucanol products.
For example, the oil of Eucalyptus pauciflora shows strong antifungal activity against a broad spectrum of human pathogenic fungi, including those responsible for ringworm, with no adverse effects on the skin. Oils prepared from lavender, marigold and wintergreen have soothing and anti- inflammatory properties.
How are Eucanol products used ? Eucanol antiseptic spray can be applied directly in neat form, or diluted with up to 30% water for localized application to sensitive areas, such as the face.
For more delicate areas such as the face, it is recommended that a clean cotton bud or gauze is used to apply the product to a small area. Eucanol antiseptic spray can also be used as an indirect inhalant, for example by spraying into a bowl of warm water.
Eucanol muscle spray and Eucanol muscle rub can be applied directly to tired, aching limbs. These products are particularly useful after strenuous exercise, when trying to avoid applying pressure to aching limbs.
These products are widely used by athletes in Australia. Eucanol soothing cream is highly effective in soothing sore skin, and is invaluable in bringing relief to sunburnt skin and insect bites.
